“Peared Up”

Still life painting is such a joy - the focus, the “stillness”, is like a meditation. Shapes, composition, shadows and light, and color - it’s a luxury to be in such a quiet place for studying what’s in front of me.  I love my pears and persimmons! Apples are next!
